My Bio

Christina Lorenzen is an award winning freelance writer located on Long Island, New York. She has had more than one hundred fifty articles on health, parenting and education published in magazines, newspapers and online. She is a former stringer for several local newspapers.

In addition to writing, Christina teaches a writing workshop “So You Want To Be a Writer?” online as well as through local public libraries.

Christina is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. In 2006 Christina won an award in the specialized press category from the Press Club of Long Island, a New York chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. This year Christina has expanded her writing interests into the realm of fiction and is a member of the Romance Writers Association as well as the American Christian Fiction Writers. She expects to complete her first inspirational novel by Summer of 2009.
